This has been quite the week for space exploration...

first the ESA "space truck," then Da Shuttle (Endevaour) goes up, and now Cassini:

The flyby will take the probe through the plumes of icy particles emanating from the enigmatic cracks at the south pole dubbed the "tiger stripes".

OK, I'm approaching 50. I don't have my personal jet pack. I can't ride up to a hotel on an orbiting space station on a commercial flight yet, and there isn't a MoonBase like on Space:1999. Still, I read stuff like this and I truly get excited by it.
