Another installment in our occasional series on life in oh-so-white and oh-so-Republican St. Tammany Parish:
A lot of folks moved to the north shore to escape the crime perpetrated by the Eebil Coloreds of SeeRay's Chocolate City. When y'all drop your kids off at school on Monday, be sure to wave at the school staff members you see and contemplate how that move's working out for you.
Four more sex crime charges have been filed against former Slidell school janitor Dino Jay Schwertz, 41, after Slidell Police investigators reinterviewed a known victim and found two additional victims.
It was the third time charges were added against Schwertz since he was arrested March 10 accused of raping two 10-year-old boys at W.L. Abney Elementary where he worked as a custodian in the fall of 2007.

A friend of mine saw a t-shirt at the Bayou Boogalou that said: "The northshore is for quitters."
I love it. Another friend has stats on people's likelihood of dying in a car crash commuting that far vs. by crime in NOLA. Pretty interesting.
