Friendly Advice to Peggy Wilson
Dear Mrs. Wilson:
I live in Jefferson Parish, so I won't be voting in the mayor's election. If I was eligible to vote, I wouldn't be voting for you. I'm a Democrat and pretty much consider you to be a lunatic.
That said, may I offer you some free political advice?
Fire your communications/public relations staff.
Now.
Anybody so stupid as to buy radio airtime on WSMB is not very good at the job. Sure, I know they're probably going to say that they bought a wider block of time that includes Tom Fitzmorris' food show from 4pm-7pm, but it's still an incredible waste of your money. The foodies aren't going to vote for you, and Al Franken's listeners damn sure aren't going to vote for you.
