Volunteer Pastor Accused Of Sex Crimes Suspect Has Worked At 2 Slidell ChurchesSLIDELL, La. -- St. Tammany Parish officials have arrested a volunteer pastor who has been accused of sex crimes with underage girls.
Investigators said James Griffin, 67, volunteered at Immanuel Baptist Church in Slidell.
Immanuel Baptist's pastor said Griffin was working to help get permits to renovate some of the buildings on the church's campus.
He's been a volunteer pastor at two Slidell churches, officials said.
