Oh yeah, about that mayor's race...

Since I couldn't get my guy (@jamesperry2010 on Saturday, this was the best Plan B. Mitch winning out right is good because the campaign is now over and he can begin the transition. It also spares the city from a John Georges-financed bloodbath. As it was, Georges was starting with the "Mitch kills babies" meme on Friday, running it into the street on Saturday.

It's done. Mitch is going to do a good job.

Now I'll be working (and contributing) to getting @SusanGuidry elected to the City Council for District A. While I side with the ABB (Anybody But Batt) folks, Ms. Guidry is also a Democrat.
